We ask pupils in all year groups to take responsibility for arriving at lessons with the necessary equipment to learn. From Monday 8th September, we expect all pupils to have a pencil case or similar container which has in it a pencil, 2 pens, ruler, rubber and pencil sharpener.
Year 7 & 8 will be provided with a diary which they should also take to lessons so they can write down their homework. In Maths lessons in Year 7 & 8 the children will use a Casio FX85 calculator which we will provide. However it would be useful if you also had one at home which they could use to complete homework. They will need this calculator for the High School.
If it is difficult for you to provide the equipment mentioned above please let us know and we will do our best to help. We are hoping to set up a stationery shop in school so that pupils can buy basic equipment on site in the near future.
To encourage our pupils to remember their pencil case there will be a consequence if they don’t – they will be put on last lunch sittings!
