In Physical Education

Twenty six pupils from Year 7 and 8 spent an exciting and energetic two days in Manchester on the 16th and 17th March.  During the trip the children took part in a variety of activities including:

A visit to Bury Football Club training ground and a coaching session with Bury’s Academy coaches.

Visit to the National Football Museum.

Skateboarding and scootering workshop at Projekts MCR.

Visit to the National Cycling Centre with a guided tour including the Velodrome followed by a BMX coaching session on Europe’s largest indoor track.  There are only two in the whole world!!

Tour of Old Trafford, home of Manchester United.

The children were complimented on their excellent behaviour wherever we went and Ian Kendall, Director of Bury FC emailed me after the visit to say ”Real pleasure to meet your children.  Best we have ever had”.
