Year 7 have been carrying out research into different types of fuel to make electricity and different renewable forms of energy.

We went over the border into Scotland to visit one of its two nuclear power stations at Torness.  Its two reactors have the capacity to provide power for 2 million UK homes.  On our tour we were shown the way the power is made and visited the different locations where the processes are carried out.  The whole experience was mind boggling and interesting.
