In News, Physical Education

Last half term we entered teams in the North Northumberland 6-a-side football competition held at Tweedmouth Middle school and Berwick Academy. There are separate competitions for each year group so we entered a Year 5, Year 6, Year 7 and Year 8 team.

The Year 6 team were fifth while both the Year 5 and the Year 7 teams were runners up in their competitions. Year 8 went one step further by winning their competition without conceding a goal.

Congratulations to them.

The U13 football team have been wearing their new strip, provided by the Premier League Players Kit Scheme, with pride over the last few weeks. They have finished fourth in the North Northumberland League this season.

Our U11’s who have also been playing in the North Northumberland League have finished as runners up, a great achievement. As well as league games both age groups have played a friendly against Glendale Middle school recently with the U13s winning 2-0 and the U11s 2-1.

Finally we are delighted that three of our pupils, Rhys Hogg, Lucy Jackman and Caitlin Duns have all been playing for East Northumberland this season.

Well done to them.
