On Tuesday 31st January our pupils took part in two activities run in collaboration with Northumberland Business Partnership and local business ambassadors who helped to run the session. The activities were aimed at developing skills ready for the world or work.

During the morning session the children worked in groups to produce paper ducks, taking on a variety of roles within their production team. Congratulations to the winning team, “Spicy Ducks”, who made a profit of £1,250.

In the afternoon Year 7 and 8 worked in two large teams to construct a giant tetrahedron out of sticks and elastic bands.

Carole Richards from Northumberland Business Partnership praised our pupils for their teamwork skills, engagement and excellent behaviour.
