Following a half term of learning to play basketball themselves and improving their dribbling, passing and shooting skills, members of our lunchtime basketball club went to watch the Newcastle Eagles play Plymouth Raiders on Friday 21st October.

We obviously brought the Eagles good luck as they won the game 103-93.

Our pupils were mesmerised by the dribbling skills of Rahmon Fletcher who was their favourite player.

Year 7 pupil Sam was a mascot for the match and he ran on to court at the start of the game with captain, Fabulous Flournoy.

At the end of the match we were lucky enough to be invited on to the court for a photograph with the team.
